I myself going back when you had to grind a lot more purchased premium and bought dlc's to speed up the process of leveling up so i could fish at the higher ranked lakes. Few hours? Few hundred hours? In previous updates where they raised the max level, there have been a conversion from your 'extra xp' to new levels. We also have no idea how much 'grind' lvl 50 is going to be. The levels itself mean nothing, they are just a number you see on your screen when you reach a total amount of XP.
